The Business Language Champion initiative is an exchange between schools and business to offer young people first-hand experience of language skills in the working environment.
Businesses can gain Business Language Champion status by recognizing the importance of languages for improving their business activities. These businesses are required to host visits from the school with which they are paired in order to show pupils the practical benefits of how languages and cultural awareness can be carried forward and utilised within business.
Celebration Event 2009
Business Language Champions celebrated the year's achievements with a friendly networking event in Manchester on 26th May, at which they were awarded their Certificates of Participation..
